The B.G.K. Break-In is royal treatment for your next gamer. I always start by massaging the glove with my hands to both learn the glove and loosen it. I dip all leather gloves in room temperature water (contrary to popular belief, this isn't bad for the leather) and then begin the mallet work. Once the glove is dry I do a final round of mallet work and apply leather conditioner as we prepare it for a smooth ride home. I take immense pride in the break in process and shaping of your glove and I encourage you to share the results. I aim to prepare you for practice with your glove so that you can finish the final step to a royal break in. Mold the leather to your hand and your specific needs then get out there and play ball!

Do it!!! Perfect Break-In!!!

If you're considering whether or not spending the money to have your glove broken in professionally, it's a not brainer. The glove is your #1 most important tool in the game, even more important that your bat. The proper break-in of a glove is even more important than the glove itself. As a parent, I wasn't going to risk my kid to screw up the break-in process. When we received the gloves back, I immediately knew it was money worth spent! I played Minor League ball for 9yrs and still trusted that TBGK could break my kids gloves in better than I could...I, and my boys, are glad we put that trust in TBGK's hands. Beyond happy customer and will be sending our next gloves TBGK's way.

Best money I ever spent on a baseball product

My son’s Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 11in just came in. First, the communication was great. Second, the shipping back was even better. It shipped from Chicago Saturday and my son is using it Monday. Lastly, the glove is incredibly soft. Literally game ready. I can’t believe how fast that glove was broken in. I will be sending every glove to the baseball glove king moving forward.

Long live the king

Ball Glove King lived up to the crown. He broke in my son’s mitt exactly the way we asked. It costs a bit, but worth it - now when my kid drops a pop-up, the King takes the blame, not me.
